i gotta find some loot before tomorrow or i think i get locked up. all for hitting a damn deer with my favorite car ever. oh well, i think jail time will do me good and keep crazy girls away from me and maybe i'll make some new friends. who knows? i guess i could sell more shit, but i'm sick of selling everything for way less than it's worth.
in better news, i've been in chicago for the last week and even milwaukee for a day and i gotta say, both cities are way better than GR by a long shot. milwaukee could use some better looking girls haha, but i guess i didn't really get to stick around long enough to make that judgement. chicago however, holy christ! i don't think i saw an unattractive girl there, and by golly they are fashionable. it's a pretty trendy city, and i finally got what they were talking about when they call it the windy city, that shit is cold! i went to the zoo, many mexican and italian food places and drank alot of whiskey and wine..... pretty good week overall. i also might be getting a job at a vintage clothing store down there and getting paid good loot for not a whole lot of work. SWEET! i guess anything would suffice, i just need a bigger city where i don't know everybody and where everybody doesn't talk so much bullshit about me. that would be swell let me tell ya

there's no end in sight
the snow just keeps on coming down out here, we'll prolly have a foot and a half by the end of the day no joke. i do get new bindings today so i get to go shred the gnar bras! pretty much sit around and myspace it up all day at work while listening to music that nobody in my office has ever heard of. is anybody else having a love affair with the new mewithoutyou cd? i know i am, if you don't have it go buy it or pirate it if your an A-hole

soooooo i guess this place isn't so bad
so i met a girl that works for SNL last night, it was crazy. she does all their sets and whatnot and she went to NYU film school which is fucking sweeetness. it's pretty hard to find girls these days with a really good sense of humor, so it was a nice surprise for me.
times have been crazy out here the past two weeks, lots of peeps from home visiting and it's been great, keep on comin out kids i need ya out here! drew is goin home b/c he hates his job, so it's me and fisher against the world from here on out. i can't believe i've been out here for 2 months already it's crazy, i don't know how much longer it's gonna take before i'm burned out on this job, i guess it has the highest turnover rate in the company but so far it's not that bad, lots of perks and free shite.

first year without the fam
wow after 22 years of spending the holidays with the fam, this year I'm gonna be 1300 miles away. i might even be working Christmas day yes! there's just no way i could pay for a plane ticket around xmas time and i'm gonna assume my truck wouldn't make it there and back here judging by my journey here. we'll make due out here tho, i'm gonna go chop down a tiny tree and attempt to be festive, usually the Mom takes care of that shite. Last year i had lots of loot to buy peeeps stuff for xmas, this year everybody is getting coffee mugs with my face on em. sorry, gotta pay the rent! kirk and brad and lynn are all coming out at the same time to visit, it'll be nice to see some peeps from back home and hang out for a few days. i'm hoping Fisher's dad makes it to Xmas b/c that'll be the last one him and ben get to spend together if the doc's are right. CANCER BLOWS! That really sucks because he already lost his mom, i feel really bad bout that situation, it sucks all around the board.
this place is getting realllly cold hommies, be glad Michigan is warm once in a while, i'm so glad i got 4 wheel drive or i would have died by now haha. finally got to go snowboarding and it was really good, surprisingly i did great for the first time out in 2 years. fallin in love with boarding all over again and i get to go for free to 6 different resorts, you really can't beat that.

wellll i made it
yep i finally made it to keystone. this is a real stepping stone for me finding out what the fuck i wanna do. things i wanna do in the next year anyway include: touring with the band (if we ever get all of the members straight), taking a cross country roadtrip with friends (not alone this time), possibly getting back at school idk, possibly get sponsered by one of these boarding companies so i can get free shit, and of course making money and completely paying off debt. me and drew are considering transferring out to work at the heavenly resort in lake tahoe, CA (owned by the same peeps), but that's just a fantasy as of right now. the green out here is amazing, i took one hit and my face actually melted off and i had to get reconstructive surgery. it was outrageous! bars are kinda pricey but i still haven't hit the local dive bar yet, might do that tonight or go over to Breckenridge b/c i here that is the place to be. either way i'm here and i can't say i miss GR that much, aside from a few peeps that know who they are. i really like this whole being completely surrounded by mountains thing, i could get used to this...

i gotta go
my start date for my job in Colorado isn't until november 6 at the earliest, but i gotta get out of here. i'm sick as hell, and my dad still feels the need to make me feel even worse by yelling at me. i need to crash on somebody's couch for like 2 weeks and then i'm gone. he's made it more than clear that i've overstayed my welcome and i'm fine with that. this town has been great but i need to experience living somewhere that i don't know anybody besides drew and fisher and see what it has to offer. from what i hear i'm not ever going to want to come back, and that's cool with me. everybody already wants to visit so i guess that's how it's gonna be. i'll come back when i get a chance i guess, but who knows when that's going to be.

[Link] | so i quit my corporate america job today. man that felt great to really just let somebody know exactly what's wrong with them; hopefully he'll take it to heart. i just let my boss know exactly what he was doing wrong and i let him know in a way that i hope he kinda feels like an idiot but not too bad. he just got on my case so much for stuff i didn't even do that i eventually just started to do things completely different just to confuse him and it was pretty comical for a while. but when he's trying to threaten my job everyday and trying to yell at me to do something i clearly already did, it's just time to really stick it to the man and give the big superfinger to the boss and the corporation. so yeah i'm self employed now, i promote bands if anybody needs a promo boost. and i also detail cars for dirt cheap so please pretty please spread the word on that i need all the business i can get. if anybody has a real job for me i would be also very grateful, as long as it's not allied cash advance or any other evil corporations.

no more shitty job!~!!
well i finally quit my hell hole of a job. i've never felt better quitting a job than when i walked into her office with all my tools and said i'm done, sorry. my boss pretty much begged me to stay but could see that there was no way in hell i could do that. i'm going to start framing houses tommorow and making in the end about two to three times as much as i did at ABC so yeah it's kinda a no brainer. and i really wanna concentrate on my band. as soon as lucasz gets back from Poland we are hitting it hard and getting the final touches put on all our songs and it's a very strong possibility we could be touring as soon as august or september. i'm excited, i just can't wait to play in front of people again, it's such a great feeling. to be able to do that every night of the week? that's a no brainer.

[Link] | well i'm back from a long weekend of good music, extreme partying and of course lots of driving. BONNAROO 2006 was by far the best time i've had in forever, seriously beating spring break 2002 by alot. chris, drew, randa and i ventured out early thursday morning and arrived in manchester, TN after about 9 hours of car singalongs and whatnot. we get there and immediately realize we need alcohol for the next 4 days seeing as they don't sell it in there for less than 3 times the price you would ever need to pay for it. chris let us out of the car and we ran to the nearest gas station who lets us know there was a liquor store about a mile up the road. chris was waiting in the car in line to get in to the fest and so we were like fuck it let's take a run, which we soon realized was a horrible idea in 90 degree weather.
so we stop at this random machine shop and this crazy guy from new hampshire literally drops what he's doing and offers to give us a ride down there, which we took even tho he seemed like a nutcase. got the alcohol and got a ride back, scared for our lives but still in one piece so happy anyway. we journey back to the car which is now about a mile away from us in line to get in and we eventually make it in and set up camp, immediately followed by heavy drinking and wandering around the massive farm.
friday comes around early with a massive fucking heat wave which contrary to popular belief, does not help with a hangover. so we get up and get going on the alcohol till the bands start playing. take note that this is in sweltering 95 degree and humid weather, which means you get exponentially more wasted alot quicker. so by noon i'm sweating out pure booze and looking for a good time and we stumble down to centeroo (where all the concerts are held) and we walk around and meet people and what not. then at some point during the ben folds set i decide i needed to go for a walk. so i walk back towards the campsite which is at least a mile and a half away, and i randomly meet these girls from boston. they seriously took me under their wing for the entire rest of the day, they fed me, gave me beer and everything else we needed to have a good time. so needless to say, by the time Tom Petty came on, we were all ready to go and have fun, which was rewarded to us by the man himself, Tommy P. partying continues following the show and then a much needed drunken passout.
saturday is again an early wake up call by the sun. pretty much the same routine and then i headed over to the boston girls camp for some pre concert fun which was oh so necessary. then we hit up oysterhead, death cab and beck pretty much rapid fire and then got ready for the reason i went, to see Radiohead again duh! so yeah we went to the show and it was phenomenal and made me wanna be a rockstar even more.
sunday we drove home and here i am, still in one piece surprisingly and definitely sold on going next year, who's coming with?
